You can purchase on our website using a debit, credit card, bank EFT. More payment methods are being updated. You can choose these payment methods at checkout. We aim to process refunds within 2 business days of an item being returned to us. Please note, however, that your bank may take some time to process the payment back into your account. We’ll contact you by email to let you know when your refund has been processed.
Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account. We do recommend that you create an account, however, if you’d like to check your order history and have your shopping basket items and payment details saved for next time. Regarding Order Questions
Once you have placed your order you will not be able to make modifications on the website. Please contact our customer support team through 'Contact us' form for any modification of the order.
This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at Contact us just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.
We do not ship outside South Africa. Delivery times may vary depending on the delivery location as well as the type of product you order. Normally, once you've placed your order, it usually takes 24 to 72 hours to process and mark it ready for delivery. Please contact us if your order hasn’t been delivered according to the expected timescales, and we will check your order status. Please read the shipping policy for details
There are several reasons why an order might be cancelled. At uBuySA, we strive to process every order successfully, but occasionally a cancellation is necessary. Here are the most common reasons:
🔍 COMMON REASONS FOR CANCELLATION
UNSUCCESSFUL PAYMENT: If your bank or our payment gateway (3D Secure) fails to authorize the transaction, the order will be automatically cancelled for security reasons.
STOCK UNAVAILABILITY: On rare occasions, an item may become out of stock unexpectedly between the time you place the order and the time we process it at the warehouse.
INCOMPLETE SHIPPING INFO: If the delivery address provided is incomplete (e.g., missing house number or suburb) and we are unable to reach you to verify, the order may be cancelled to prevent loss.
SECURITY & FRAUD PROTECTION: To protect our customers, our system may flag and cancel orders that appear high-risk or potentially fraudulent.
DUPLICATE ORDERS: If two identical orders are placed back-to-back, we may cancel one to prevent you from being charged twice.
There is only a short amount of time between when you place your order and when we start processing it. If you Contact us straight away after ordering, we may be able to cancel your order before it’s processed. If not, we’ll despatch your order and then you can return it to us if you wish upon receiving it. Note: In this case, you have to bear all shipping fee.
We can only change orders that have not been processed for shipping yet. To make changes to your order, please reach out to support by submitting your request via "Contact us" form. Note: If the order ship out, you will not be able to change it.
At this time, uBuySA operates exclusively within South Africa. We do not offer international shipping to other countries. Our logistics network and services are specifically optimized to provide the best value and experience for customers residing in Mzansi.

NO BORDER CROSSING: We do not ship to neighboring countries (such as Namibia, Botswana, or Zimbabwe) at this stage.

Yes. Once you have placed your order, we will send you a confirmation email to track the status of your order. Once your order is shipped we will send you another email along with the link to track your order. Or, you can track the status of your order from your "order history" section on your account page on the website.
Yes, We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. The item must have been sold on our online store. The item shouldn't have been used in any way. The item should have in its original packaging with all the tags etc. The return request is made within 30 days of delivery. To request an exchange, please submit your request via "Contact us" form. A member of our support staff shall respond as soon as possible. Please read our Return policy carefully.
OVERSEAS ITEMS: Products shipped from our Overseas Warehouse are also covered by our return policy, but the return process must be handled through our local South African support center.
Yes, we do support exchanges! If you’ve received an item and realized you’d prefer a different size, color, or a different product altogether, we are happy to help you get exactly what you need.

To ensure a smooth exchange, please follow these steps:
CONTACT US: Email hello@ubuysa.com within 30 days of receiving your order. Please include your order number and the details of the item you wish to exchange.
CHECK ELIGIBILITY: The item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with all tags attached.
RESERVE YOUR NEW ITEM: Our team will check if the new item you want is in stock and "reserve" it for you to prevent it from selling out.
SHIP THE ORIGINAL BACK: Once authorized, you can send the original item back to our local warehouse.
💰 ARE THERE ANY COSTS?
DEFECTIVE OR WRONG ITEM: If we sent you the wrong product or if it arrived damaged, we will cover all shipping costs for the exchange.
CHANGE OF MIND / SIZE: If you would like to exchange an item for a different style or size, you will be responsible for the return shipping fee and the shipping fee for the new item.
PRICE DIFFERENCE: If the new item is more expensive, we will send you a secure payment link for the balance. If it is cheaper, we will credit the difference back to your original payment method.
🌎 EXCHANGES ON OVERSEAS ITEMS
If you ordered an item from our Overseas Warehouse, exchanges are still possible! However, please note:
Because international shipping takes longer, it may take 10–15 business days for your new item to arrive after we have processed the exchange.
The original item must be returned to our South African hub—you do not need to ship it back overseas.
⚠️ NON-EXCHANGEABLE ITEMS
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot exchange:
Personal care items (skin care, hair tools, etc.).
Underwear or swimwear.
Items with broken security seals (e.g., software or certain digital gadgets).
Returning an item at uBuySA is simple and designed to be hassle-free. As long as your request is made within 30 days of delivery and the item is in its original condition, we are here to help.
📝 4 EASY STEPS TO RETURN
1. Submit Your Request

Your Order Number (e.g., #UBS12345).
The Name of the item you wish to return.
The Reason for the return (e.g., faulty item, wrong size, or changed mind).
Tip: Attaching a photo of the item helps speed up the approval!
2. Receive Return Authorization
Our team will review your request within 24–48 hours. Once approved, we will send you a Return Authorization Email with detailed instructions and the address of our local South African return hub.
3. Pack and Send
Ensure the item is securely packed in its original packaging.
Include all manuals, accessories, and tags.
Depending on the reason for return, we will either arrange a courier collection (for faulty items) or provide instructions for you to ship it back to us (for change of mind).
4. Inspection & Refund
Once the parcel arrives at our warehouse, it will be inspected. We will then notify you via email regarding your refund. Approved refunds are credited to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
In short: No. Our system currently only allows for one (1) coupon code or discount code to be applied per transaction.
We aim to offer the best possible value on every item, and our pricing is structured to be as competitive as possible from the start.
